Common questions
How do I reset my password?
From the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, matches, messages, and uploaded photos. The action cannot be undone.
How do I report or block another user?
Open the user's profile (tap their name or avatar) and use the menu to Block or Report. Blocking immediately removes them from your matches and chats. Reports go to our Trust & Safety team for review.
Why isn't my school or company verification working?
Verification requires an email at the institution's domain (e.g. you@stanford.edu for a school, or you@stripe.com for a company). Check that the email matches and that the verification code arrives within 10 minutes. If your domain isn't recognized, email support@pairify.app.
I matched with someone but my message isn't sending.
Check your network connection first. If the issue persists, force-quit Pairify and reopen it. If you still can't send messages, please email support with the time and the other user's name.
Can I use Pairify if I'm under 18?
Pairify is open to users 13 and older. Users between 13 and 16 may use the app only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not allow users under 13.
How do I export my data?
Email privacy@pairify.app with the subject "Data export request." We'll send a copy of all data associated with your account within 30 days, in line with GDPR and CCPA requirements.
The app crashed or something looks broken.
Email support@pairify.app with: your iOS or Android version, the app version (Profile → Settings → About), and a description of what you were doing when it happened. Screenshots help.
